Established in October 1933 as the Malwala United Cooperative Thrift Society, our bank has evolved to become the strongest community voluntary society in Malwala and the surrounding areas.

Our organization is deeply rooted in the cooperative principle of self-reliance and mutual assistance. Under our legal and institutional frameworks, we operate as a fully computerized banking facility, providing modern conveniences with a local, community-focused touch. We are recognized as one of the leading primary Sanasa societies in the Ratnapura District, backed by millions in assets and the loyalty of thousands of active members.

With our modernized two-story administrative building and attractive banking hall, we continue to deliver robust credit facilities, gold pawning services, and comprehensive savings packages tailored for individuals, women, children, and senior citizens.

වසර 92ක් පුරා ජනතාව සවිබල ගැන්වීම

1933 ඔක්තෝබර් මස සාමාජිකයින් දස දෙනෙකුගෙන් ආරම්භ කරන ලද මල්වල එක්සත් සහකාර සමිතිය, අද වන විට මල්වල හා අවට ගම්මානවල ශක්තිමත්ම ස්වේච්ඡා සමිතිය බවට පත් වී ඇත.

එතෙක් මෙතෙක් වරෙක ඉදිරියට යමින් වරෙක පසු බසිමින් පැවති අප සමිතිය 1985 දී සීමාසහිත මල්වල සකසුරුවම් හා ණය ගනුදෙනු පිළිබඳ සමූපකාර සමිතිය නමින් සීමාසහිත වගකීමක් ඇති සමිතියක් බවට පත්විය. 1985 මාර්තු 10 දින බැංකු සමිතියක් බවට පත්වූ අප, රත්නපුර දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ මුදුන් මට්ටමේ පවතින සණස සමිති කිහිපයෙන් එකක් ලෙස සලකනු ලබයි.

මහල් දෙකකින් සමන්විත මල්වල සණස ගොඩනැගිලි සංකීර්ණයේ බිම් මහලේ වඩාත් පහසුකම් සහිත බැංකු කාර්යාලයකුත්, රැස්වීම් පැවැත්වීමට හැකි පරිදි පළමු මහල නවීකරණය කර සාමාජිකත්වයට පැවරීමට හැකිවීමත් අප ලැබූ සුවිශේෂී ජයග්‍රහණයකි. 2008 ජනවාරි 10 වන දින සිට සමිතියේ සියලු ගිණුම් කටයුතු පරිගණක ඇසුරින් කිරීමට හැකිවී ඇත.
